a9b76c4519 UPSTREAM: drm/drm_vblank: set the dma-fence timestamp during send_vblank_event
The explicit out-fences in crtc are signaled as part of vblank event,
indicating all framebuffers present on the Atomic Commit request are
scanned out on the screen. Though the fence signal and the vblank event
notification happens at the same time, triggered by the same hardware
vsync event, the timestamp set in both are different. With drivers
supporting precise vblank timestamp the difference between the two
timestamps would be even higher. This might have an impact on use-mode
frameworks using these fence timestamps for purposes other than simple
buffer usage. For instance, the Android framework [1] uses the
retire-fences as an alternative to vblank when frame-updates are in
progress. Set the fence timestamp during send vblank event using a new
drm_send_event_timestamp_locked variant to avoid discrepancies.

services/surfaceflinger/Scheduler/Scheduler.cpp#397

Changes in v2:
- Use drm_send_event_timestamp_locked to update fence timestamp
- add more information to commit text

Changes in v3:
- use same backend helper function for variants of drm_send_event to
avoid code duplications

Changes in v4:
- remove WARN_ON from drm_send_event_timestamp_locked

8ef4cf6aba drm/dp/mst: Export drm_dp_get_vc_payload_bw()
commit 83404d5814 upstream.

This function will be needed by the next patch where the driver
calculates the BW based on driver specific parameters, so export it.

At the same time sanitize the function params, passing the more natural
link rate instead of the encoding of the same rate.

v2:
- Fix function documentation. (Lyude)

08989335e2 drm: drm_edid: remove a duplicated kernel-doc declaration
It is not possible to create cross-references for duplicated
symbols. While Sphinx always detected it, on Sphinx 3 it
generates warnings like this:

531d29b0b6 Merge tag 'iommu-updates-v5.10' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/joro/iommu
Pull iommu updates from Joerg Roedel:

 - ARM-SMMU Updates from Will:

      - Continued SVM enablement, where page-table is shared with CPU

      - Groundwork to support integrated SMMU with Adreno GPU

      - Allow disabling of MSI-based polling on the kernel command-line

      - Minor driver fixes and cleanups (octal permissions, error
        messages, ...)

 - Secure Nested Paging Support for AMD IOMMU. The IOMMU will fault when
a device tries DMA on memory owned by a guest. This needs new
fault-types as well as a rewrite of the IOMMU memory semaphore for
   command completions.

 - Allow broken Intel IOMMUs (wrong address widths reported) to still be
   used for interrupt remapping.

 - IOMMU UAPI updates for supporting vSVA, where the IOMMU can access
address spaces of processes running in a VM.

ASoC: Updates for v5.10

Not a huge amount going on in the core for ASoC this time but quite a
lot of driver activity, especially for the Intel platforms:

 - Replacement of the DSP driver for some older x86 systems with a new
one which was written with closer reference to the DSP firmware so
should hopefully be more robust and maintainable.
 - A big batch of static checker and other fixes for the rest of the x86
   DSP drivers.
 - Cleanup of the error unwinding code from Morimoto-san, hopefully
   making it more robust.
 - Helpers for parsing auxiluary devices from the device tree from
   Stephan Gerhold.
 - New support for AllWinner A64, Cirrus Logic CS4234, Mediatek MT6359
Microchip S/PDIF TX and RX controllers, Realtek RT1015P, and Texas
   Instruments J721E, TAS2110, TAS2564 and TAS2764

96e503f900 ALSA: hda/i915 - fix list corruption with concurrent probes
Current hdac_i915 uses a static completion instance to wait
for i915 driver to complete the component bind.

This design is not safe if multiple HDA controllers are active and
communicating with different i915 instances, and can lead to list
corruption and failed audio driver probe.

Fix the design by moving completion mechanism to common acomp
code and remove the related code from hdac_i915.
