Steve requested better names for the new task-state helper functions. So introduce the concept of task-state index for the printing and rename __get_task_state() to task_state_index() and __task_state_to_char() to task_index_to_char(). There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
